Blog Writing - Level Up
Project Description Looking for a student/group of students to focus on developing Blogs with a focus on keywords. Blogging is one of the key components of getting to the top of Google! Blog about Top Canadian Small Towns
Number of individual students required: 4 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting small town communities and travellers. We launched about 150 unique pages of Top Places to Visit in the Town. We would like students to help us with promoting the 1000 Towns of Canada project by writing stories for 1000 Towns blog Top 10 Art Towns, Top 25 Towns to Test Burger, Top Towns to Pick up Strawberries, etc. We want to increase awareness of the project and engage new users on the website. The content is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles and other content pieces on assigned topics - for at least 8 articles during placement Assist with a social media post/video launch to promote 1000towns.ca (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. If you like the sound of our culture and enjoyment of travelling off-the-beaten-path and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. A student with excellent writing and video skills and an interest in local travelling would be the ideal candidate for this project.

Blog Writing About Outdoors /Camping/Boating/RVs - Level Up
Positions Available: 4 Students We are looking for students with strong writing skills and an interest in blogging about the outdoors, camping, recreational vehicles and boating. Project Scope Blog Content Prioritization Agree a list of topics to blog about. Key considerations will include: Relevance to Werrv's business and customer interests ( outdoors, camping, recreational vehicles and boating. ) Uniqueness/ Interesting / Topical - There's already a blog post for everything - a unique spin or current update help make the blog interesting. The author's interests and experience. SEO Friendly - we use Yoast ( https://yoast.com/ ) to help ensure our content is focused and easily readable. Promotional - where appropriate, and while remaining tasteful, the content should cross reference relevant store products. Reusable - if the blog content can be posted in small parts to social media posts on Facebook, etc. great. Research and Creation - Approximately 800 word length, Estimate about 4 hours per post, or 20 posts for 80 hours of effort (negotiable) Calendar & Posting β Work with Werrv to position the Blog Post in the schedule. Our website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Timely meeting access and response to questions will be provided, including by text, or on-line communication tools.

Social Media Strategy for 1000 Towns of Canada
Number of individual students required: 4 students, any Province or Territory, Canada 1000 Towns of Canada 1000towns.ca is a digital platform connecting small town communities and travellers. We launched about 150 unique pages of Top Places to Visit in the Town. We are looking for social media digital marketing wizards who can help us drive more traffic and improve our positioning. The primary project requirements include: Content Calendar Execution: Timely deployment of all our social media content to drive maximum traffic to our site Social Media Management: Creating engaging content for prominent media websites Overseeing different channels that we own and keeping them up-to-date Social media requirements to increase the number of followers/likes and share 3. Working with tools and programs such as Canva, Buffer 4. Keyword analysis to determine relevant search terms to our organization Weβre excited to work with students who can help us brainstorm and execute a digital and social media strategy. This is a great project for students to prove their digital marketing expertise to future employers, as the impact of their work on this project can be easily measured and communicated.
