We Are launching our Technology Sales Website

We manufacture modular turnkey Indoor Vertical Farming technology.

We need to create a website that supports the following situations.

  1. Licensed Farms - these folks use our equipment and our branding
  2. Private Label Farms - these folks just use our equipment
  3. Operated By Local Grown Salads - these folks pay us to operate the farm for them. This is an investment model
  4. Urban Farms - In this situation, the farm is purchased by non-profits to create Urban Farmers
  5. CSA Farms - In this situation, the product purchased by non-profits and creates a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

The technology is all the same, the associated services are different. And the business model for each situation is different.

We need

  • The website
  • Content
  • Pics and videos
  • Other ideas as they come forth

This is a practical hands on opportunity to test and try your ideas and work.

Students will work in a multi-functional team.

Deliverables

Skills students will develop:

  • Project management
  • Communication in a virtual environment
  • Familiarity with tools like Discord, Wordpress, Jira
  • Taking responsibility
  • Presentation skills for a business environment.

Some example deliverables that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:

  • Website development using WordPress.
  • Creating a wiki for internal/external use
  • Integrating our website & wiki with other tools

Mentorship

We use Agile Project Management implemented on Jira.

The team will have a backlog and sprints already in place.

Regular daily access

Discord for ad-hoc communication.

We provide a Virtual work environment using Agile (using JIRA), Discord, AWS, ReTool, React Native, Postgres to name some of our tools.
