We are looking to develop a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that will effectively grow our brand and engage with our target market. Students will conduct market research, analyze existing digital marketing trends, and assess our current digital presence. The aim is to create a strategic plan that leverages various digital channels, optimizes our budget, and aligns with our company’s goals.


We want students to help us develop a tailored digital marketing strategy that will increase our brand visibility and drive engagement within our target market. The strategy should take into account our specific industry dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

Students will be expected to:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough research to understand our target audience, including demographics, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Analyze competitors’ digital marketing strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Evaluate current trends in digital marketing, including emerging channels and techniques, and recommend which ones we should focus on.
  1. Channel Strategy:
  • Identify which social media platforms and digital channels (e.g., SEO, content marketing, email marketing, PPC, influencer marketing) would be most effective in reaching and engaging our target audience.
  • Recommend a strategy for each selected channel, including content types, frequency, and tone of messaging.
  1. Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
  • Propose an optimal budget allocation across different digital marketing channels, justifying the choices based on potential ROI and impact.
  • Suggest how we can maximize our marketing budget, including cost-effective strategies and potential partnerships or collaborations.
  1. Messaging and Brand Positioning:
  • Develop key messaging guidelines that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.
  • Create sample content (e.g., social media posts, email templates) that exemplifies the recommended tone and style.
  • Recommend strategies for consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms.
  1. Performance Metrics:
  • Suggest KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the success of the digital marketing strategy.
  • Propose methods for ongoing monitoring and optimization of the strategy, including tools and reporting structures.
Deliverables

Students are expected to deliver a detailed digital marketing strategy that includes the following components:

  • Market Research Report: A document outlining findings on the target audience, competitive landscape, and digital marketing trends.
  • Digital Marketing Strategy Document: A comprehensive plan that covers channel strategy, budget allocation, messaging, and performance metrics.
  • Sample Content Portfolio: Examples of recommended content and messaging, including visuals and text.
  • Presentation: A final presentation summarizing the strategy, key insights, and recommendations. This should be designed to communicate the strategy effectively to key stakeholders within the company.


Project Outcomes and Deliverables: The final deliverables should include:

  • A detailed Digital Marketing Strategy Report covering all aspects mentioned above.
  • A Sample Content Portfolio showcasing proposed content and messaging.
  • A Presentation that effectively communicates the strategy and its expected impact on the company’s growth and engagement efforts.
